Week 16 Cell Growth, Protein Purification, SDS-PAGE, and Buffers

This week, Project CRYSTAL students ran an SDS-PAGE gel to check to see if their proteins expressed and if they were soluble. The SDS-PAGE gel allows us to visualize proteins in order to check for purity and level of expression. The students learned all about SDS-PAGE gels, and happily, their proteins expressed solubly!
